Briel Health Care Story
My name is Janet Elliott, RN, BSN, managing director of Briel Health Care Services.
I didn’t begin my journey in healthcare with a title. I began it with a calling.
That calling started when I was a young girl, caring for my grandmother in her final days. In those quiet, meaningful moments, I discovered compassion, the power of presence, and the true essence of care.
I began my career at the bedside as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), later becoming a Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) and Home Health Aide (HHA). In these roles, I learned that even the smallest acts, offering comfort, preserving dignity, and providing reassurance, can have the greatest impact on someone’s life.
As I advanced to a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), then a Registered Nurse (RN), and ultimately earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), my responsibilities grew, but my purpose never changed.
My experience in long-term care, along with my journey as a mother and proud young glam-ma, deepened my commitment to caring for both the elderly and children with patience, respect, and love.
Briel Health Care Services was born from this journey, built on a clear and heartfelt mission: to provide compassionate, high-quality care in the comfort of each client’s home, where they feel safe, valued, and respected.
At Briel Health Care Services, we don’t just provide services. We build relationships, honor lives, and support families with compassion and excellence.
This is more than my profession.
This is my purpose.

My name is Ms. Muna Braima, MSW, LGSW, proudly serving as the Client Services Coordinator and Office Manager at Briel Health Care Services.
I am passionate about helping individuals and families feel supported, valued, and cared for throughout their healthcare journey. With a background in social work, I strive to create a compassionate and welcoming environment where every client feels heard and respected.
